If you believe in our vision that every child deserves an excellent education, then support our growing movement.

Do you think public education is a wise investment?

Many public schools are facing a teacher shortage crisis in South Carolina. But together, we can help solve it.
Your financial support helps us to recruit, prepare, and retain more high-quality teachers where the greatest needs are. When you donate to TFASC, 90 cents of every dollar are invested in expanding our teacher training programs to reach more students and communities. Excellent teachers are the key to improving education and preparing all students for success in a rapidly changing world.

“Without TFASC and its excellent teachers, the alarming gap in teacher supply would be even wider. Educating students without teachers is impossible. Educating students well without first-rate teachers is even more impossible.”

Other Ways to Support Us

In addition to donating, there are many ways you can get involved and support our vision to make an excellent and equitable education a reality for all children in South Carolina.

“What inspires me about TFASC is its teachers. They bring energy and honesty to the profession. High-performing teachers need empathy to truly serve their communities, and it is there in abundance.”

Darrin Goss Sr. »
President and CEO, Coastal Community Foundation

What Your Support Makes Possible

A Collective Movement for Change

Since 2011, TFASC worked intentionally to recruit and train 767 high-quality teachers who transformed student outcomes at schools with the greatest needs.

Intensive Teacher Support

TFASC provided more than 260,000 hours of intensive teacher training since 2011.

Positive Student Impact

For more than a decade, our teachers positively impacted over 70,000 students at under-resourced schools across the state.

Accelerated Academic Growth

Our teachers were placed at schools where only 30% of students met or exceeded grade-level standards.

By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, 62% of our teachers achieved over a year’s worth of academic growth in their classrooms — closing learning gaps at accelerated rates.
