“The past school year was a pivotal moment for our education system, our organization, our teachers, and a generation of young people,” said Troy D. Evans, executive director of Teach For America South Carolina (TFASC). “Yet, in these turbulent times, we ran toward the pandemic-related challenges to make a collective impact both inside and outside of the classroom.”
In the 2020-2021 annual report, “Leading Through Crisis,” TFASC spotlights its collective impact – thanks to supporters – and discusses how to scale its impact in a rapidly changing world.
“Your continued support is essential as we work intentionally to retain more quality teachers and to transform student outcomes in schools where the needs are greatest,” added Evans.
